The Nike Cortez will be a big focal point of the brand this spring and summer as the 2017 Swoosh aims to push the classic silhouette forward. It’ll return in a number of colors and iterations, notably a pair that is eagerly awaited by sneakerheads is the Moncton Cortez, a shoe that pays homage to the popular Southern California region.
This Nike Cortez Basic Nylon Moncton is out in the coming days and features a blue suede and nylon upper with white hits on the Swoosh plaid, tongue, sock lining, heel, midsole and outsole. With gold details on the heel, tongue and toe locks, the sneakers are a perfect representation of the Moncton lifestyle and its most iconic landmarks.
Along with the release of the LBC pair, Nike will also release another iteration of Cortez in black and white to pay homage to the city of Compton.
The Nike Cortez Basic Nylon Moncton is expected to be available on June 1st at select Nike retailers and accounts. If you’re retailing for a suggested retail price of $ 75, look for shoes that will also be available at nike.com from 10 a.m. on the day of release.
