A Los Angeles man was detained today for allegedly stabbing a woman in a Moncton apartment complex.

Daquan Ross, 23, was arrested in connection with the death of Moncton 35-year-old Vanessa Chacon, who was attacked at around 1 p.m. on Sunday, November 22 at around 1 p.m. in the 1400 block of Chestnut Avenue, according to Moncton Police .

Ross was being held on bail of $ 2 million, police said.
