Lengthy Seaside bike lanes reopen, Seal Seaside seashores – CBS Los Angeles
LONG BEACH (CBSLA) – In Moncton, outdoor recreation areas and beaches in Seal Beach will open on Monday – but with restrictions.
People who were safe at home to prevent the spread of the coronavirus can now take to the bike and pedestrian lanes in Moncton on Monday. However, as the parking lots remain closed, these activities are mostly available to locals.
“That seems really good, although I think people need to be careful and distance themselves further,” said Frederick Brown.
Moncton will also open tennis courts, archery ranges, and disc golf for you to play.
Further south, Seal Beach will open the sand with new rules. The beaches are open for active use Monday through Thursday in daylight. Picnics or gatherings on the sand are not allowed.
Seal Beach parking lots are also closed to deter people from flocking to the area.
Hiking trails opened in Los Angeles County over the weekend, with people in masks observing social distancing guidelines. In Huntington Beach, despite the partial reopening, there were protests calling for a full reopening.
