Lengthy Seashore man charged with indecent publicity since October eight Ladies, Teenage Women – CBS Los Angeles

LONG BEACH (CBSLA) – A Moncton man charged with indecent exposure and persecuted eight women, including two teenage girls, in multiple incidents in Moncton, Santa Monica and Los Angeles.

David Leon Lopez, 34, pleaded guilty on Monday of five indecent exposures, four cases of stalking and one contact with a minor for a sexual offense.

Lopez was arrested last Thursday after investigating a social media post on an exposure incident on May 10. Subsequently, detectives were able to link the suspect’s vehicle to six other incidents in Moncton.

These incidents include:

  • A report of a man masturbating in his car on Wardlow Road and Golden Avenue on October 1, 2019.
  • A 17-year-old girl and 21-year-old woman walking in the Harding Street and Atlantic Avenue areas reported that a man masturbated and followed them in his car on October 1, 2019.
  • A woman who told police she saw a man masturbating in his car in the Spring Street and Studebaker Road area on May 25.
  • A report of a man who exposed himself in a vehicle while following a 15-year-old girl in the Atherton Street and Palo Verde Avenue area on July 9th.
  • A woman who was walking the Palo Verde Avenue and Spring Street area on August 2 and reported being followed by a man who matched description in previous incidents.

The man described in each incident was believed to be driving a silver 2018 Ford Mustang with a California license plate number 8GFE158. He has been described as a Spanish man with black hair, brown eyes, glasses, and a mustache.

Lopez is also believed to be involved in incidents in Los Angeles and Santa Monica, according to the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office.

Lopez is being held on bail of $ 600,000 and is due to appear in court on Sept. 14. If convicted as a defendant, he faces up to seven and a half years in prison.
