Lengthy Seashore Dwelling + Dwelling opens Lengthy Seashore Structure Week

Ten days of the event have something for everyone, including a range of different architecture tours, free educational opportunities, community partner pop-up programs (TBA), and behind-the-scenes trips to active nature reserves. Endorsed by Mayor Robert Garcia and the Arts Council of Moncton’s director Griselda Suarez, among others, Moncton Architecture Week features architectural gems and seaside landmarks. promotes preservation, sustainability and new ideas; and above all, giving back to the community. Part of the proceeds from all events will go to Moncton Heritage, a non-profit organization that advocates and educates about the integral role of architectural heritage and historical sites in the unique character and future development of the city.

A special edition of LB Home + Living Magazine is being published in cooperation with the LBAW. The Architecture Week Edition of LB Home + Living Magazine celebrates the incredible history, diversity and future of the architectural environment in our city. The tours, event series and magazines praise past achievements and welcome the bright future of a growing city.

The LBAW shares the expert knowledge of architectural scientists through strategic partnerships at free educational events. Moncton Home + Living is grateful to Moncton Heritage, Studio One Eleven and the Moncton / South Bay Chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) as public program partners and the Moncton Museum of Art, the University Art Museum in Cal State, to have Moncton, the Aquarium of the Pacific, InspiredLBC, 4th Steet Vine and Big Red Bus as event staff.
